Some (not all) CBU course instructors give Plough Library copies of textbooks to keep "on reserve" for students to check out from the Library Service Desk. These items are called course reserves. Your instructor will usually list them on your syllabus as course reserves or tell you about it in class.

Course reserve items may be checked out for three hours and cannot leave the library. Student often make copies or scans of the pages they need in order to read them later.
